The second edition of the #NestleDlaNauki program has launched – an initiative supporting young researchers and innovators

#NestleDlaNauki

Nestlé Polska announces the second edition of the #NestleDlaNauki program. Its goal is to support Polish scientific communities in creating innovative solutions within the food chain. In the 2025/2026 academic year, students and PhD candidates will tackle challenges related to water resources in a regenerative food system. As part of the #NestleDlaNauki Ideathon, which will take place on November 22–23, 2025, at the University of Łódź, students will work on solutions promoting responsible consumer behavior.

The second edition of #NestleDlaNauki started on October 1

The program consists of two pillars: the autumn IDEATHON and research grants awarded in the following spring. The first activity – the IDEATHON – will take place on November 22-23, 2025, at the Training and Conference Center of the University of Łódź.

Applications are open until October 31, 2025, via the form available at www.nestledlanauki.pl/ideathon Teams of 2-4 students are invited to apply and participation will be determined by the order of submissions.

The IDEATHON will focus on developing innovative solutions that promote responsible consumer behavior in the context of water resources. Winners with the most promising ideas will receive attractive prizes, including participation in the foodtech.ac development program, 10 000 PLN and two honorable mentions of 5 000 PLN each.

“Nestlé supports innovation and the growth of young talent in Poland through the #NestleDlaNauki program, with IDEATHON as one of its key components. This event, organized for the second time, gives students an opportunity to demonstrate creativity and design groundbreaking solutions with real-world applications in the food chain. During the event in Łódź, students will be able to experiment, create and develop their ideas under the guidance of experts and practitioners. We believe that fresh perspectives are crucial for generating solutions that go beyond traditional frameworks,” – says Blanka Mellova, Program Coordinator of #NestleDlaNauki.

Participants will have two days to develop their projects. The ideas will be presented before a Program Council composed of experts from academia and business, including:
