High Culture kicks-off

🚀 High Culture is a popular science portal and research and development project dedicated to substances, technologies and practices that affect brain fitness and mental health. 🧠

In collaboration with scientists, we create products with nootropic, psychoactive and generally health-promoting properties when it comes to the human brain and mind. 💊 You can expect, among others, alcohol substitutes. 🥂

News from the market

🎤 Piotr Grabowski – co-founder of foodtech.ac took part in Rzeczpospolita debate on the equity gap in the VC market: Start-ups on a financial crossroads. The future of investing in innovative companies.

🚚 Delivery Couple – Polish provider of autonomous courier solutions has acquired German last mile delivery company THEO. As part of the strategic acquisition, THEO’s founders are joining the Delivery Couple team.

🧑‍🍳 Restimo has announced the closing of its second investment round of 2 million PLN (~470k EUR). The startup has developed an application that integrates food delivery platforms, online ordering systems, courier companies and POS systems.

💵 Choice – a Czech startup has raised about 10 million PLN in funding (~235k EUR) to digitize guest service in Polish and European restaurants.

Contests and programs

🚀 300k EUR for 10% equity offered by our friends from Bulgarian Eleven Ventures as part of the Eleven Alpha program. The program is dedicated to early-stage startups and is combined with a three-month mentoring program. The process of launching funds for selected startups will take no longer than two months. Applications are only open until March 7 – don’t miss it!

💰 Applications are now open for the Carpathian Startup Fest, which will be held on June 5-6 in Rzeszów. The prize pool for Originators, Startups and Scaleups is 130 000 PLN and the main prize in the startup category is 40 000 PLN! ➕ In addition, the prize pool includes entry to the 8th edition of InCredibles – Sebastian Kulczyk mentoring program. 📆 The deadline for the applications ends on April 2!
