Speed-dating with green funds

📍 On 19 October in Warsaw, PFR Ventures is organising a meeting with a group of VC funds that 💰 finance the development of green innovations. The invited funds – BeyondNetZero, Contrarian Ventures, Eurazeo, PKO BP, TiLT and Montis Capital have diversified strategies and are looking for companies at different stages of development. Applications for the speed-dating are being accepted until 29 September. To participate, you must pass the pre-selection. ✅ We strongly encourage you to apply!

Plant-Powered Pitching 2023

🌱 Plant-Powered Pitching is a competition for foodtech startups that will take place as part of the Plant-Powered Perspectives conference on 19 October 2023 in Warsaw, Poland! This year, startups that develop plant-based products and have interesting R&D potential will be awarded. 🏆 Present your project in front of a unique industry audience and compete for prizes of 8 500 EUR and 2 150 EUR! The deadline for submissions is 5 October.

PFR publishes an overview of Polish foodtech

📊 According to the report Transactions on the Polish VC Market 2022 prepared by PFR Ventures and Inovo, foodtech accounted for more than 5% of investments by Polish VC funds last year. Thus, it ranked fourth among the industries in which the funds invested – ahead of fintech and proptech, among others. In its review, PFR singled out a dozen of the most promising Polish foodtechs, including as many as six foodtech.ac companies – myEgg, SERio, Listny Cud, CUDO Kombucha, Rebread and Venturis Horeca.
